The Vietnamese community and intellectuals in some Eastern European countries in the early years of the 21st century

The Vietnamese community and intellectuals in some Eastern European countries in the early years of the 21^st century” is a useful reference for the researchers, policymakers in order to create the conditions for living, activities as well as bringing into full play the position and role of the Vietnamese community abroad in the cause of national construction and development. The content consists of three parts: overview of actual state, impact factor and viewpoints and policies of our Party and State for the Vietnamese community and the Vietnamese intellectuals in some Eastern European countries in the early years of the 21^st century.

 Part 1: Formation and development of the Vietnamese community and intellectuals in some Eastern European countries. Including two charters: Present generally the formation and development of the Vietnamese community in general and the Vietnamese intellectuals in particular in the Eastern European countries. Analyze their advantages and disadvantages in the legal aspects, profession, living and working environment, social integration with the local country. State the characteristics, roles as well as their contributions to the national construction and relationship development between Vietnam and Eastern European countries in the new background. 

Part 2: Background and factors affecting the Vietnamese community and intellectuals in some Eastern European countries in the early years of the 21^st century. This part includes three chapters: present the international and regional background, the changes in the general policy of the European Union in the field of immigration and policy adjustments of the Eastern European countries during the process of joining the European Union, the fluctuations in the socio-economic development of the Eastern European countries and cooperative relationship with Vietnam as well as the impacts on the Vietnamese community in general and the Vietnamese intellectual community in particular in these countries in the early years of the 21^st century.

Part 3: Promote the role of the intellectuals, strengthen and develop the Vietnamese community in the Eastern European countries. Including two charters: study, analyze the guidelines and policies of our Party and State for the Vietnamese abroad in general and in the Eastern European countries in particular. Propose the solutions to promote the role of the Vietnamese intellectuals in these countries in the community development and contributions to the national construction for the target of wealthy people, strong country, just, democratic and civilized society. At the same time propose the solutions through this intellectual community to promote the traditional cooperative relationship between Vietnam and the Eastern European countries in particular and the European Union in general.
