On October 14th, 2021, at the Headquarters at No.1 Lieu Giai Str., Ba Dinh Dist., Hanoi, the Institute for Southeast Asian Studies (ISEAS) under the Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences (Academy - VASS) held an International conference in the form of online combined face-to-face with the theme "ASIAN – Major power relations under the 46th President of United States of America" The workshop focused on identifying US policies with Southeast Asia (ASEAN) under US President Joe Biden; the US policy impact on Southeast Asia and Southeast Asian relations with major countries; ASEAN cooperation prospects and actions of Vietnam.

On the morning of December 24, 2021, at the headquarters at No. 1 Lieu Giai, Ba Dinh, Hanoi, the Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences (Academy -VASS) held a scientific forum with the theme "Covid-19 pandemic- 19 and digital transformation in Vietnam”. This forum is a continuation of the series of scientific forums that the Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences organizes every year under the Prime Minister's Decision No. 501/QD-TTg dated April 15, 2015 to assess evaluate, discuss the multi-dimensional impacts of the Covid-19 pandemic on the digital transformation process in Vietnam in all fields, industries and localities across the country, thereby making recommendations and proposals, to accelerate the digital transformation in Vietnam. The forum is organized in two forms, face-to-face and online.
