Winthin 2 sessions, there are 9 writing papers presented and 7 opinions discussed right at the seminar which all focused on the two following major topics:

Firstly, it is the creative leadership of Central Communist Party and President Ho Chi Minh during the August Revolution in 1945, starting with the decision of changing the strategy which put the national independence at the first place and considered this task as the urgent demand of the nation because it is the expectation of whole country. The strong leadership also led to the quick progress of building up the public, military, revolutionary places, safe zones and fighting areas, especially the role of Viet Minh which was a wide united public group and attracted many Vietnamese who love the country without any discrimination. The victory of August Revolution has had significant meaning to the history of Vietnam, marking the winning over the feudal colonialist, achieving the independence for country and establishing the Democratic Republic of Vietnam as the first democratic people’s state in South East Asia.  The success of August Revolution was the first foundation and spiritual strength for Vietnam to achieve victory in the resistance war against French colonialism (1945 – 1954) and America (1954-1975).

The August Revolution in 1945 and the establishment of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam on September 2nd 1945 have had big international influence. It broke a key chain of the colonial system and supported the national liberation movements in all other countries.

Secondly, it is the meaning and practical values of the August Revolution and the establishment of Vietnam towards the country building, development and international integration over the past 70 years. The biggest and most profound lesson of the August Revolution and Vietnam establishment are still relevant today is to build a national great solidarity, combined the national strength with the strength of ea, and timely grasped opportunities. Also, Vietnam should build a political system and national defense for the security, social safety and order in the progress of building, conserving, developing county as well as international integration.

The seminar on “70 years of August Revolution and National day of Socialist Republic of Vietnam in the renewals, integration and development (1945 – 2015)” has successfully finished. It is an important political event to promote the spirit of August Revolution in 1945 and National day which encouraged whole country to try their best to complete the industrialization, modernization and protect the national independence and democracy, political security as well as the sovereignty of fatherland./.
