Signing Ceremony of Cooperation Agreement between Vietnam Institute of Economics and Truong Phat Super Plastic Group

Implementing the cooperation program, on the morning of April 13, 2022, at the Group's headquarters No. T151, Lot H4, Auction Area 31ha, Trau Quy Town, Gia Lam, Hanoi, Vietnam Institute of Economics and Truong Phat Super Plastic Group Joint Stock Company held the signing ceremony of cooperation agreement between the two units.

Assoc.Prof.Dr. Bui Quang Tuan, Director of the Vietnam Institute of Economics and Ms. Nguyen Thi Hai Binh - CEO of Truong Phat Super Plastic Group Joint Stock Company signed a Memorandum of Understanding between the Vietnam Institute of Economics and Truong Phat Super Plastic Group Joint Stock Company.
 
Attending the signing ceremony were: Assoc.Prof.Dr. Bui Quang Tuan, Director of the Vietnam Institute of Economics, Mr. Pham Quoc Chinh - Chairman of the Board of Directors of Truong Phat Super Plastic Group Joint Stock Company, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hai Binh - CEO of Truong Phat Super Plastic Group Joint Stock Company, along with key officials of the two units.

Cooperation between Vietnam Institute of Economics and Truong Phat Super Plastic Group Joint Stock Company on cooperation in research and production to deploy work items in the direction of green economy development, circular economy, eliminating ocean plastic waste. The cooperation and coordination program between the Vietnam Institute of Economics and Truong Phat Super Plastic Group Joint Stock Company is implemented for a period of 5 years (2022-2027). According to the signing program, Truong Phat Super Plastic Group Joint Stock Company and the Vietnam Institute of Economics will cooperate in the following tasks:

Firstly, organize seminars, train human resources related to green economy, circular economy, eliminate ocean plastic waste.

Second, cooperate in implementing projects and research projects related to HDPE materials in aquaculture to replace products that cause environmental pollution.

Third, cooperate in implementing projects on aquaculture and marine cultivation (seafood farming, seaweed farming, marine pharmaceuticals) using HDPE infrastructure;

Fourth, Connecting financial institutions, credit institutions and fund organizations at home and abroad;

Fifth, cooperate in introducing, promoting and introducing to improve the prestige of the Board of Directors as well as of the Company through the media, organizing seminars, and conducting field surveys, etc..

Fields and scope of cooperation: Domestic and international programs and projects oriented to develop green economy, circular economy, eliminate ocean plastic waste…

To implement the cooperation program, on the basis of the agreed contents, Truong Phat Super Plastic Group Joint Stock Company and the Vietnam Economic Institute agreed to assign the focal points to develop a specific coordination plan for each cooperation program stage.

At the signing ceremony, from the business side, the representative of Truong Phat Super Plastic Group Joint Stock Company, General Director - Ms. Nguyen Thi Hai Binh said, Truong Phat Super Plastic Group Joint Stock Company discovered the owns 03 large production factories in Bac Ninh, Thai Binh and Quang Ninh. With the annual production capacity of Super Truong Phat Plastics reaching 138,000 tons of HDPE pipes and fittings and products for aquaculture. Truong Phat Super Plastic Group at is considered as the leading manufacturer of HDPE pipes and infrastructure products for aquaculture in Vietnam.

According to Ms. Nguyen Thi Hai Binh, as a pioneer in technology solutions, Truong Phat Super Plastic Group has applied 4.0 technology, including QR codes in the warranty for HDPE floating cages and floats. HDPE cages are currently the optimal solution to protect the environment and adapt to climate change. Truong Phat's aspiration is to bring international standard HDPE material into aquaculture in order to protect the sea and islands, directing fishermen to advanced technologies and sustainable marine economy.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Mr. Pham Quoc Chinh - Chairman of the Board of Directors of Super Truong Phat Plastic Group Joint Stock Company wished that the program of coordination and cooperation with the Vietnam Institute of Economics in order to strengthen the effective implementation of activities movement of each unit.
