The Autumn Economic Forum titled “Vietnam Economy in 2012, Prospect for 2013: Innovating Decentralization in Institutional Reform” held by Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences (VASS) in collaboration with the Economic Committee of the National Assembly (ECNA), Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Vietnam took place in Vung Tau City on September 28 and 29, 2012.

From 29 to 30 August 2012, in Hanoi, the 7th Korea - ASEAN Cooperation Forum with the theme “A Better World of Differences 2” was jointly organized by the Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences (VASS), the Korea Foundation and the Seoul National University.

On August 28th, 2012, with the consent of the Prime Minister, the South Korea - Vietnam forum with the theme “Vietnam - Korea Strategic Partnership in the Next 20 Years: Sharing Points of View and Knowledge” was held in Hanoi by the Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences (VASS) and the Korea Foundation.
