In the scope of work of the Project on “Human rights research and education” which belongs to the Program “Public management and Administration Reforms – 2nd period: 2012 – 2015” based on the agreement signed by Vietnamese and Denmark Government, VASS has worked with Denmark Embassy to organized the international conference on “Human rights research and education in Vietnam – Opportunities and Challenges” in November 12th and 13th at Hilton Opera Hanoi. The conference is also supported by the Law Faculty of Vietnamese National University (VNU), Hochiminh University of Law and Denmark Institute of Human Rights (DIHR). There are more than 80 local and foreign representatives joined in the conference.

On November 26th 2015, Institute of Cultural Studies – a member unit of VASS organized the conference of Culture News 2015 at the Head Office with the participation of many local researchers who are working on cultural collection, management and teaching.

Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences (VASS) and Korean National Diplomatic Academy (KNDA) has organized a scientific conference on “Strategic context of Asia – Pacific region and measures of strengthening Vietnam – Korea bilateral relationship” in November 3rd at the Head Office of VASS (Ba Dinh, Hanoi).

In the morning of October 29th 2015, Institute of Regional Sustainable Development of VASS has worked with Vietnam E – commerce Association and Centre Institute for Economic Management to organize a workshop to release the research result on “Internet, e–commerce and operations of SMEs in Vietnam” at the Head Office of VASS (Ba Dinh, Hanoi). The research is supported by Google Asia Pacific.

In the morning of September 30th 2015, Institute for Northeast Asian Studies with the Republic of Korean (ROK) Embassy in Vietnam organized the international workshop on “Lessons of experiences for Vietnam in attracting and using ODA and FDI: Policy implications for Korean peninsula” at the Head Office of Institute for Northeast Asian Studies, No.1 Lieu Giai, Ba Dinh, Hanoi.
