On the occasion of the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Morocco (1961- 2021), on the afternoon of June 30, 2021, at the head office at No. 1 Lieu Giai, Ba Dinh, Hanoi, Institute of African and Middle East Studies (IAMES), Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences (VASS) in collaboration with the Embassy of the Kingdom of Morocco in Vietnam held an online seminar with the theme "Renewable energy: Potential and prospects of cooperation between Vietnam and Morocco".

The fourth outbreak with a dangerous Delta mutation, with a very fast transmission speed, spread to many provinces and cities in the country with the largest scale ever and is still developing unpredictably. In particular, the epidemic has penetrated deeply into the community in many areas of Ho Chi Minh City and some southern provinces, with a very high number of cases, causing great damage to human life, health, directly and seriously affect people's lives and socio-economic development. Faced with this situation, on August 6, 2021, the Government issued Resolution 86/NQ-CP on urgent solutions in the prevention and control of the COVID-19 epidemic.

In the battle against the Covid-19 pandemic in Vietnam, the spirit of "fighting the epidemic like fighting the enemy" is expressed with the whole political system in action, then General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong's call is a summons to the whole Party, the whole people uphold the tradition of solidarity, mutual love and solidarity of the nation, creating strength and faith for Vietnam to firmly overcome the Covid-19 pandemic.

On the afternoon of August 8, 2021, in Hanoi, launching Ceremony of Connecting Platform to support remote medical examination and treatment (Telehealth) and launched the National Center for Technology for Covid-19 Prevention and Control, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh attended and delivered a speech.
