On the visit of the high-level delegation of Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences (VASS) for attending the workshop on “Green growth – Model for sustainable development of Dalat city” in Dalat city, on 21 September 2013, the President of VASS and the Chairman of the People’s Committee of Lam Dong province signed the cooperation agreement for the period 2013-2018. This agreement was based on the cooperative activities approved by the leaders of VASS and the People’s Committee of Lam Dong province, which had initially produced some positive results.

On 9 September 2013, Prof.Dr. Nguyen Quang Thuan, Deputy President of Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences (VASS), had a reception and work with Prof. Peter Kornicky from Department of East Asia, the UK’s National Academy of Sciences (NAS) and professor at the University of Cambridge (UK). Along with Deputy President of VASS receiving Prof. Peter Kornicky, there were also Mme. Luu Anh Tuyet (M.A) (Deputy Director, International Cooperation Department – ICD) and Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Thi Oanh (Institute of Han-Nom Studies) as well as ICD’s officers.
