Three countries Vietnam - Laos - Cambodia are together located on the Indochinese peninsula, consecutive mountains, consecutive rivers, have the cultural closeness and always support and help each other in all circumstances. With an extremely important geopolitical position, point of interference, bridge of the Asian continent, all three countries are striving to build a prosperous country for peace and development. Vietnam - Laos - Cambodia have a long-standing relationship, especially in recent years the trilateral economic relations have been more and more developed with better and better prospects. This is a very important basis for further expansion of cooperation between the three countries.
With the determination of the three countries, over a past decade, Vietnam - Laos – Cambodia Development Triangle Area has achieved a lot of good results in various fields, such achievements prove the solidarity, friendship, cooperation and development for the common benefits of the three countries and the ASEAN region, promising new successes in the coming time.
The trilingual book Vietnam - Laos - Cambodia cooperation, friendship and development was published on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations Vietnam - Laos (15/09/1962 - 15/09/2012 ), 35 years of signing Vietnam - Laos Cooperation Friendship Treaty (17/07/1977 - 18/07/2012) and 45 years of establishing diplomatic relations Vietnam - Cambodia (24/06/1967 - 24/06/2012) to prove more clearly the cooperation achievements gained by the three countries in the past time, contribute to strengthening and looking after the special friendship Vietnam - Laos - Cambodia at present and in the future.
The book content is presented in 4 parts. Part I: Practical basis of building Vietnam - Laos – Cambodia Development Triangle, this part confirms the good cooperative relationship between Vietnam - Laos - Cambodia that is an important basis for the development of Development Triangle; and stated the main characteristics of nature, culture and human of the provinces in Vietnam - Laos – Cambodia Development Triangle Area.
Part II: Actual state of development in Vietnam - Laos – Cambodia Development Triangle Area.
