It is presented in four chapters, the book analyzes The outstanding economic and political issues of the world in the first decade of the 21st century; Learns about The main development trends of the world economy and politics to 2020 and offers some judgments about Vietnam in the context of a turbulent world.
The authors focused on answering the major questions as follows: (1) What are the outstanding issues of the world economy and politics at present (the first 10 years of the 21st century) and in more than one coming decade? Actual state of such issues, main causes of their appearance and existence, (2) How the basic progress trend of these outstanding issues will be in more than one coming decade?; (3) How do these outstanding issues and their progress trend impact on the development orientation and foreign policy of Vietnam in the past 10 years and in about more than one coming decade?; (4) What impacts the international, regional and Vietnam community will suffer from? How will participate, how to respond before these outstanding issues of the world and regional economy and politics?
This is really a difficult theme, very new, with many different viewpoints, even opposite in every aspect of the theme, however, the author also hopes that with the effort to clarify the conceptually theoretical issues, the book content will definitely bring to readers a lot of new information and awareness about this issue most systematically and fully.
