The economic globalization is an objective tendency, has impacted widely and deeply on all fields of the human life, including the culture and human.
The Southeast Asian region, Northeast Asian countries such as China, Japan, Korea and some Southeast Asian countries such as Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore also experienced or are experiencing the adjustment or reform process to adapt to the rapid change of the international and regional situation. Vietnam is located in the East Asian region, carrying out the renovation, international integration. In the recent years, our Party and State have been very interested in the cultural development and human construction, at the same time attached much importance to the reference to experience from the countries, especially when Vietnam joined the World Trade Organization (WTO).
The book content is presented in 5 chapters. Chapter 1: Some basic factors impact on the East Asian cultural and human development. In this chapter, the author mentioned to the basic factors that impact on the cultural and human development, such as internal factor: human geography and ecology, economy, politics, society, traditional culture; and external factor such as: progress of science – technology, knowledge economy, globalization, non-traditional security.
Chapter 2: The cultural and human development in some Northeast Asian countries. Including the contents: Cultural and human development in Japan, Korea, China in the aspects of impact factor; awareness of cultural and human development guideline, policy; actual state of cultural and human development.
Chapter 3: The cultural and human development in some Southeast Asian countries. Including the contents: Cultural and human development in Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore in the aspects of impact factor; awareness of cultural and human development guideline, policy; actual state of cultural and human development.
Chapter 4: Basic characteristics and impact of culture, human on the sustainable development in some East Asian countries. This chapter mentions to the contents: Basic characteristics and impact of culture, human on the sustainable development, basic characteristics in human development and its impact on the sustainable development.
Chapter 5: Experience lesson of some East Asian Countries to Vietnam in the cultural and human development. The author stated the lessons about: preservation and promotion of national culture; acquisition of the cream of human culture; behaviour culture in the policy for environment, people’s welfare, religion and international relations; moral construction in production, business and management; human resources training, promotion and use of talents.
The book “Cultural and human development in some countries and East Asian territory – experience lessons to Vietnam” provides relatively comprehensively and systematically the viewpoints, solutions about the cultural development and human building in order to adapt to the new changes of the situation in some countries and territories in the East Asian region, through that to provide the scientific basis for planning of Vietnamese cultural development and human building guideline, policy in the process of international integration.
