Nowadays, Japan is still an economic power and ranks second in the world in terms of scope and level of development, only preceded by the USA. In many researches on Japan economy, it is proved that one of the reasons for the success in Japan economy is the unique human resources management model in Japan enterprises. This management model has brought into full play positive effects in enhancing labor productivity in the competitive condition of the market economy. Whether an enterprise can develop or not depends on the organization of human resources management, especially human resources and method of doing applied by them. The reality in Japan has proved the success of this management model, at least during the high economic growth period.

From the reality in Vietnam, it can be seen that Vietnam economy still transforms and becomes more perfect by the socialist-oriented market economy mechanism. In particular, for the equitization and management renovation in the State-owned enterprises at present, the enterprises involved in a market economy must try to gain the best competition ability if they want to survey and develop and take initiative in joining the international economic integration.

To enable the readers to have more information on the human resources management in Japan enterprises, the Social Science Publishing House and the Institute for Northeast Asian Studies published the book entitled “Human resources management in Japan enterprises & Experience lessons for Vietnam entrepreneurs”. The book content is presented in 3 chapters. Chapter 1: Theoretical and practical basis for the human resources management in Japan enterprises; Chapter 2: Main contents in the human resources management in Japan enterprises; Chapter 3: Ability and condition of applying Japan experience in the human resources management in Vietnam enterprises.

Learning various management forms in the world including human resources management in Japan enterprises, including achievements and shortcomings, is quite necessary and useful in the present practical condition in Vietnam.
