Attending the ceremony were Prof.Dr. Vo Khanh Vinh, Vice President of Vietnam Academy of Social Science (VASS), Director of GASS; Prof.Dr. Nguyen Quang Thuan, Vice President of VASS; Dr. Tran Minh Tuan, Director of Department of Personnel and Organization; Deputy Directors of GASS Asso.Prof.Dr. Tran Dinh Hao, Asso.Prof.Dr. Ho Viet Hanh, and Asso.Prof.Dr. Ho Sy Son; Dr. Nguyen Khac Binh, Representative of Ministry of Education and Training; lecturers of GASS; and the 136 new Masters and their friends and family members.
Of the 136 students who were awarded a Master’s degree in 2013, 64 studied Law; 32 studied Culture; 13 studied Philosophy; 16 studied Sociology; 8 studied History; 1 studied Anthropology; and 2 studied Literature.
Joining the new Masters in celebrating, Asso.Prof.Dr. Tran Dinh Hao on behalf of GASS’s Board of Directors thanked VASS’s leaders for their careful guidance and interest, the Ministry of Education and Training for its support, and all the lecturers for their efforts and close work with the students on the learning path at GASS. All of their ceaseless efforts had brought great results, marked by the recognition of the Master’s degree, a mark of great pride and honor. The Deputy Director of GASS hoped all the new Masters would achieve success in their future work and studies in order to contribute to the country’s intellectual development.
The ceremony took place in a warm and happy environment. The new masters received flowers and greetings from friends and family members.
