Opening the meeting, Prof.Dr. Nguyen Quang Thuan warmly welcomed the delegation of Embassy of Hungary in Vietnam led by Ambassador Ory Csaba, visited and presented the book entitled “Historical counties and cities of Hungary” as a donation to the Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences. The President stressed that the Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences and the Hungarian Academy of Sciences had a long-term relationship, and the book was a valuable information source to understand more about the Hungarian country and people.
In response to the VASS’s President, Ambassador Ory Csaba thanked the warm welcome of the Academy's leadership for the delegation and expressed his pleasure in introducing the book entitled “Historical counties and cities of Hungary” to the Academy. This book was written at the end of the nineteenth century and completed before World War I. It can be said that is a monography on history, geography, cultural, economic and social life… to Hungarian visual arts. The Ambassador affirmed: that is an exciting book, and it would be well received at the Academy. Thereby, he wished to continue to cooperate with the Academy not only in the field of Economics - Culture but also in many projects in the coming time. Simultaneously, he believed that the cooperation relationship between the two sides would continue to develop sustainably.
The meeting ended successfully, contributing to promoting scientific cooperation as well as friendship and solidarity between Vietnam and Hungary.
