Background
Underwater cultural heritage is part of the universal heritage of humanity which can give us invaluable information about cultural and economic contacts, migration and trade patterns, and production and export in the past. In recent decades, it has increasingly got great effects on the development of society and community awareness. However, underwater cultural heritage throughout the world is in danger and facing a lot of threats, whether by humans acting directly underwater, by the intrusion of our machines, devices and engineering works, or by the forces of nature and simultaneously.
