Opening Ceremony of a Training Course on Human Rights for Government Officials in 2013 (26/08/2013)

On the morning of 26th of August 2013, Vietnam Academy of Social Science (VASS) held an opening ceremony for a training course on human rights for government officials. The candidates for the course are officials who work as managers in agencies within and outside VASS and in many provinces around the country.

On Junly 2013, Graduate Academy of Social Sciences (GASS) held a Master’s degree ceremony for 136 graduate students who successfully defended their theses at the Instittute. This ceremony is for graduate students of the 2011-2013 academic years.

Graduate Acadamy of Social Sciences present awards degrees to 54 doctoral students for the first time in 2013 (26/05/2013)

On 26th May 2013, Graduate Acadamy of Social Sciences (GASS) held a Doctor’s degree ceremony for 54 PhD candidates who had successfully defended their dissertation. The candidates were students of the Department of Law (9 people), the Department of Psychology (2), the Department of Anthropology (2), the Department of Philosophy (8), the Department of Religious Studies (4), the Department of Literature (6), the Department of Linguistics (2), the Department of Han Nom Studies (2), the Department of Economics (13), and the Department of Sociology (2).

On September 15th, 2012, the Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences held a conference with the theme "National Network for Human Rights Education" in Hanoi.

International Integration of Vietnam Social Sciences (18/07/2012)

An academic assignment at the State level “International Integration of Vietnam Social Sciences” was carried out by researchers of VASS with Assoc.Prof. Dr. Dang Nguyen Anh as the research team leader. It was checked and taken over by the Ministry of Sciences and Technology.
