On 28th February 2015 at the head office of Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences (VASS), the Central Committee’s Theory Council, VASS and other related agencies held a scientific seminar named “Awareness on socialist – oriented market economy” to contribute into the accomplishment of General Report on some theoretical and practical issues after 30 years of renewal and Draft of political report ofthe Party Central Committee (11th Tenure) in the 12thNational Congress of Delegates.

On 30th January 2015, the workshop on “Evaluation of climate change influence to poor people in North Region of Vietnam and solutions for minimization” belong to the National Program on dealing with climate change KHCN-BĐKH/11/15 was held by Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment and Institute of Regional Sustainable Development – a unit member of Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences (VASS), at the head office in 1A Lieu Giai, Ba Dinh, Hanoi.

On the morning 27th January 2015, the scientific conference on “Systematic values of Vietnam from past to present” was held by Agency of National Project management KX.04.15/11-15 and Institute of Social Sciences Information at the head office of Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences in 1B Lieu Giai, Ba Dinh, Hanoi.

In the morning on January 19th 2015, at the head office No. 1A, Lieu Giai, Ba Đinh, Hanoi, Vietnam Institute for Indian and Southwest Asian Studies under directly Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences (VASS) organized an International conference on “Adjustments of India’s Look East Policy in the new context” with participation of many representatives from institutes of VASS and many India’s universities and research institutes, in particularly Ms. Shrimati Preeti Saran, the Ambassador of India to Vietnam.

On December 23rd 2014, at the head office No. 1A, Lieu Giai, Ba Dinh, Hanoi, Institute for Northeast Asian Studies (Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences - VASS) coordinated with Korean Institute of National Unification (KINU) to organize a international scientific seminar on “National unification in the past and the future: Vietnam’s experience and Korea’s preparation” with participation of many Vietnam’s and Korea’s representatives, experts, scientists. Dr. Tran Quang Minh, Director of Institute for Northeast Asian Studies and Dr. Min Cho, Vice President of KINU, co-chaired the seminar.
