The Covid-19 pandemic has had a negative impact on the entire political, economic and social life, but at the same time is also a driving force to help Vietnam's digital transformation to rise sharply. The digital economy is becoming a characteristic and an inevitable trend in the world, researched, applied and developed by many countries. Especially, under the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, digital transformation has become a mandatory requirement for every country and business.

Focusing on controlling the Covid-19 pandemic through mass vaccination against Covid-19 for the community in order to recover and develop socio-economics is one of the key tasks of the Resolution of the XIII National Congress of the Party.

In the afternoon of September 9, 2021, at the headquarters of No. 1 Lieu Giai, Ba Dinh, Hanoi, the Institute of European Studies (Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences) held an international scientific conference with the theme "National innovation system in Europe: Trends, policies, challenges and lessons for Vietnam”, funded by KAS Foundation (Germany).
