Course – ending and certification award ceremony for “Training course on Human Rights”

At the course – ending ceremony, the course’s result was reported through two small plays related to human rights and rights to go to school of children. Many issues and open questions were raised through these performances as the ways to receive feedback and suggestions from course’s lecturers.

Having the speech at the course – ending ceremony, Prof. Dr. Vo Khanh Vinh (Deputy President of VASS, Project Director) has delivered a warm congratulation on the performances and the success of the training course. Professor commented that the course is only in a short period with total 7 topics about theory, history, conventions, international/ regional mechanism, policy – law, conditions to ensure the human rights, anti – peaceful evolution in the fields of human rights, rights and obligations of citizen according to Constitution 2013. However, participants have tried their best to finish all proposed plans and targets. Prof. Dr. Vo Khanh Vinh believed that the training course will be an useful and meaningful channel to improve the knowledge about human rights. This will change the awareness and promote the network connection between researchers, policy – makers for the human rights promotion across the country.

On the behalf of all participants, Mrs. Nguyen Thuy Minh (Center for Social Sciences and Humanities) has sincerely thanked to project’s board of directors and course organizers for facilitating them to join in this training course. They have had chances to learn more knowledge about human rights so that they can implement targets of human development in next period. She hoped that the training course will still be organized and expanded so local officers will have chance to learn and improve in the future.

In the solemn and joyful atmosphere, Prof. Dr. Vo Khanh Vinh has awarded certifications for 11 participants and hoped they will achieve more successes in this new field of human rights.
