Dr. Tran Quang Minh – Director of Institute of North East Asian Studies and MA. Nguyen Thanh Ha – Director of International Cooperation Department also joined in the meeting with the Vice President of VASS.
At the meeting, Associate Prof. Dr. Pham Van Duc has introduced to Mr. Park about the functionality, tasks, organizational structure as well as the major oriented research fields of VASS. Also, the Vice President highly evaluated the cooperation and effective support of the Embassy of Republic of Korea in Vietnam and Korea Foundation for activities related to VASS’s scientific research and capability improvement.
Mr. Park Sang Shik expressed his appreciation to visit and work with VASS and realized the important role of VASS in making plans, strategies and development policies for Vietnam. He expected to have VASS’s support so that programs between VASS, the Embassy of Republic of Korea in Vietnam and Korea Foundation will be effectively implemented. This will also improve the mutual understanding, friendship and the completed cooperation between Vietnam and Korea.
