At the meeting, the two sides agreed that Vietnam-Korea relationship gained strong developments in economic, social and cultural areas as well as developmental cooperation and people exchanges. The two sides expressed belief, based on results of high-level visits organized recently and continuously, result of FTA between Vietnam and Korea, partnership increasingly ties between Korea and ASEAN, and common concerns of the two countries about maintenance of peace and stability in the region, Vietnam-Korea relationship will transfer into a new phase in depth.

Minister of Korea Foreign Affairs gave a cheerful reception to the initiative of upgrading the Korea-Vietnam Forum, expanding participation to enterprises, political-social organizations, enhancing effectiveness and reality of this important dialogue channel.

The meeting took place in friendly and opened atmosphere, giving the two sides a chance of sharing opinions and awareness of commonly concerned issues in each country and in the region.
