Attending the meeting with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Nhat Quang was Dr. Hoang The Anh, Deputy Director of the Institute for Chinese Studies; Dr. Bui Thu Hien, Institute for Chinese Studies; MA. Nguyen Thanh Ha, Head of International Cooperation Department.
Along with Ms. Miyon Lee was Mr. Jang Won, Counsellor.
In the meeting, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Nhat Quang expressed greeted Ms. Miyon Lee; introduced to the delegation organizational structure, missions, basic functions of VASS. Assoc. Bui Nhat Quang emphasized that after 30 Doi Moi, in the context of integration, the international cooperation of Vietnam in general and VASS in particular was very diversified; Specially, Korea has become an important and comprehensive partner of Vietnam in recent years. Vice President hoped that Ms. Minister Counsellor Korea would continue to support the promotion of cooperation between the two countries.

In response to Vice President, Ms. Miyon Lee thanked the warmly welcome of VASS, expressed the great pleasure to visit and work at VASS - a leading research and policy consultancy in Vietnam. Ms. Miyon Lee emphasized that the Vietnam-South Korea relationship has had strong development, especially economic cooperation. Korea has become Vietnam's number one economic partner. She hoped that with the close cooperation and diversification and cultural and social similarities, the two countries will become strong countries, contributing to the stability of the region and the world in the changing current situation.
The meeting ended well with presenting souvenir and take photos. Both sides hoped that the friendship and cooperation develop further.
