Joined with Prof. Dr. Nguyen Xuan Thang in the meeting also has Prof. Dr. Vo Khanh Vinh – Vice President of VASS, Dr. Tran Quang Minh – Director of Institute of North East Asian Studies, Associate Prof. Dr. Pham Quy Long – Deputy Director of Institute of North East Asian Studies, Dr. Nguyen Xuan Cuong – Deputy Director of Institute of Chinese Studies, and MA. Luu Anh Tuyet – Deputy Head of International Cooperation Department.
The Korean National Diplomatic Academy team has Prof. Duk-min Yun – Chancellor of Academy; Prof. Seunghyun Hwang, Associate Prof. Wooseon Choi, Associate Prof. Wongi Choe, Mr. Ji-Yong Lee, Mr. Dongwoo Koh, Mr. Gyeung-hun Yim - Deputy Director of South East Asian Department, Korean Ministry of Foreign Affairs. On behalf of Korean Embassy in Vietnam, Mr. Lee Won Ik – Minister Counselor and Mrs. Song Jung He – Cultural Counselor joined in the meeting.
Prof. Dr. Nguyen Xuan Thang has introduced to Prof. Duk-min Yun about the functionality, tasks, organizational structure and the major research fields as well as orientation of VASS.
Prof. Duk-min Yun showed his happiness to visit and work with VASS. He also delivered a brief introduction about Korean National Diplomatic Academy and expected to set up cooperation with VASS in the future.
At the meeting, two sides agreed to have more talks for scientific and technology exchange, research collaboration and training in order to enhance the mutual understanding as well as promote the friendship and fully cooperation between Vietnam and Korea./.
