On March 24, at the headquarters at No. 1 Lieu Giai, Ba Dinh, Hanoi, Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences (Academy) in collaboration with the Embassy of Japan in Vietnam held a scientific conference with the theme "Enhancing the comprehensive role of the United Nations and the United Nations Security Council in a volatile world and region". The seminar was honored to welcome Mr. Nishigori Naofumi, Political Counselor of the Embassy of Japan in Vietnam.

Implementation of the cooperation agreement between the Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences (VASS) and the Lao National Academy of Politics and Administration (NAPPA), on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Laos. , Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences sent a delegation of 02 experts including Assoc. On the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations and the 45th anniversary of the signing of the Vietnam-Laos Treaty of Friendship and Cooperation, on the afternoon of September 9, 2022, the President of the Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences (VASS), Assoc.Prof.Dr. Bui Nhat Quang received the delegation of Laos National Institute of Economic and Social Sciences (LASES) led by Dr. Khanlasy Keobounphanh, Vice President of LASES, visited and worked at VASS.
