International scientific forum “Growth, development and social justice”

With the agreement and consent of World association for political economy, in the context of Ninth Forum of World association for political economy, in 24th and 25th May 2014, Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences (VASS) and World Association for Political Economy together held an international scientific forum on “Growth, development and social justice” at the headquarter of VASS (No. 1 Lieu Giai Street, Ba Dinh District, Hanoi). There are 78 scholars from different regions and countries all over the world such as United States, Japan, China, South Korea, Africa, Brazil, United Kingdom, Ireland, India, Canada, Germany, Mexico, Ukraine, etc. participated in the forum along with 45 scholars from Vietnam’s research institutes and universities. Especially, the Forum had the participation of Prof. Dr. Cheng En Fu, the president of World Association for Political Economy.

In 6th and 7th of May 2014, Institute of Philosophy (a unit member of Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences) in collaboration with Fiedrich-Ebert-Stiftung Vietnam Office held the International scientific conference on “The modern market economy and integration of Vietnam”. There are many representatives from Germany, Japan, China, Laos, Singapore, and other organizations as well as institutions and agencies located in Hanoi to participate in the conference.
International scientific conference: “Dien Bien Phu Victory–The Vietnamese Power and World Significance”

On 5th May 2014, Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences (VASS) held an international scientific conference at the headquarter in No. 1 Lieu Giai, Ba Dinh, Hanoi on: “Dien Bien Phu Victory – The Vietnamese Power and World Significance” with the participation of more than 200 foreign and domestic scientists, among them there are 22 international representatives from: Russia, France, U.S, Australia, India, Ukraine, China, Laos, Cambodia, and Taiwan. Vietnamese scientists came from: Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences, Institute of Vietnam Military History, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Commission for Popularization and Education of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Ho Chi Minh National Political Academy, Communist Review, Presidential Palace Historical Site, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, Hanoi National University of Education, National Economics University, andthe Hanoi Party Committee …
